Scope appoints Matthias Böhm as Managing Director of Scope Ratings

Scope Ratings strengthens its governance, appointing Matthias Böhm to the management board alongside Guillaume Jolivet, chief operating officer of the Scope Group.

Scope Group is delighted to announce that Matthias Böhm joined Scope Ratings as Managing Director on 1 December. Matthias Böhm will be based in Frankfurt and will share responsibilities for managing Scope Ratings GmbH with Guillaume Jolivet, COO of the Scope Group.

Matthias Böhm will have responsibility for all internal controls functions and have the direct reporting line for the review function team, the compliance team and the middle office operations for the rating agency.  

Guillaume Jolivet will remain responsible for all analytical functions, the management and supervision of the subsidiary Scope Ratings UK Ltd. in London as well as the company's branches in Milan, Madrid, Oslo and Paris.

Matthias Böhm joins Scope after a longstanding career in banking including senior management roles at Rabobank – where he was managing director of the Dutch lender’s German operations – Dresdner Bank and Deutsche Bank in addition to experience in the corporate sector. He is a certified compliance officer.
